How do you open the configuration in Creator 6? |
|

Cannot figure out how to get the preferences to open in the new version 6
Creator window. There must be a way to adjust the Theater, Portable, etc.
settings easily.

6 is definitely not ready for prime time. But it's not the first time Divx
has rushed out a product to the pay-to-be-beta customer base. However, they
also seem to get it right eventually, so I too will keep trying as they
6.01a, 6.01b, 6.011a, etc. us ;-0) However, this one had to be
uninstalled - because the files I did make with the new codec crashed most
other players beside theirs. Some players didn't even like playing xvid
encodings while the divx 6 codec was registered?
As to the creator? Take it for what it is, or use something else - there's
Vdub, FlaskMPEG, Gordian, and maybe a few others.

Yeah, might have to. I did find it odd that one of the follow-up
questionnaires DivX sends out after buying it asks what features you want
added (like most of what was taken out of 5!!). That Creator drag-and-drop
leaves much to be desired, and sometimes crashes with Vob files, but no way
to get to the settings easily is really frustrating!
