I`m looking for a program to convert avi to Divx.

I have tried DivX 6 converter but it stops half way truogh.

Most AVI files are either DivX or XviD. If you're not sure which
compression format was used on the one you downloaded, suggest you get
GSpot. It will tell you exactly what you have.

GSpot doesn't even have to be installed. Just unRAR the files into a
convenient folder, open gspot.exe, go to File > Open..., and select
your AVI movie.
