I just bought an LG RH-7500 DVD HDD Recorder as it also supports MPEG4 playback, which is unusual still in the UK at this price ( 249 pound)
The player is astonishingly good for the price and very quiet...playback is great etc EXCEPT......
It wonīt play back MPEG-4 files encoded with Q PEL....havenīt seen too many thankfully but my question is this...
- is inability to reproduce QPEL andf GMC with 2 or 3 warp points, an issue that can be solved with firmware upgrades or a limitation of the chipset used in the model ?
I just find it strange in this fast moving tech world that this machine canīt do it when the DVD player i bought over a year ago (Yamada DVX 6600) plays back those qpel files with no problem.
