Hi,
I intend downloading some movies off the net and want to burn to dvd and
watch on home television. Also have a new camcorder for home
videos.
Which would be the best bet.
Zensonic 300
Zensonic 330
Philips 642.

The Zensonic is presently the cheapest by abou $50

Would hope to keep for a couple of years.
Thanks

Not sure if the Phillips plays DivX's as well. If it doesn't, then I'd say
the Z330 hands down, the Z300 isn't available any more, unless you find
someone that has some old stock.
The major differences between the Z300 and Z330 is a slightly different
power cable (Z300 has the figure8, Z330 has an IEC), different (better)
remote, and the Z330's decoder chip is registered (however the jury is still
out as to whether it's actually any better).
Personally I'd go with the Z330, a DVD-R with 4 or 5 DivX's is bloody handy.
Also, it's firmware can be updated.
