Hello all.

I have a Sony Digital Handycam DCR-PC101E which appears to be working well.
It records good quality video and stereo sound. Playing back the tape in the
camera gives sound and video.

There are 2 problems I need help with.

1. The firewire connection isn't recognised by any of the six or so programs
I have tried. I replaced the firewire card with the same result.

2. When I try to save to PC (Win2K) using the the USB port and either MPEG1
or AVI I get video but no sound.

Can anyone help?
