Audio synch problem using ads instant dvd 2.0 |
|
|
I just purchased the ads instant dvd 2.0, and it works ok except I notice
the audio is a tad out of synch with the video. Not a huge amount, but
noticeable. Perhaps 1/8 to 1/4 of a second. Are there any known remedies
to this problem? I've read about the box getting hot during capture and am
wondering if this could be a cause. Has anyone had the same problem and
were you able to resolve it? TIA
Specs:
P4 3.0 ghz
768 mb pc2700 ddr ram
2 hard drives: system drive 120gb WD - storage drive 200gb SATA WD

I read these same things from a user who reported at Amazon.com.
I have the latest drivers and capture software...make sure you upgrade.
My box *does not* get very hot during use. They may have made manufacturing
changes: Does the bottom of your box say Revision A?
I have had excellent results with no sync problems.

The newer revision has addressed the heat problem, at least for DVD Xpress,
and I expect for Instant DVD.
