help!!!, i have a tube amp that uses 6v6 tubes and i want to use a 6l6 tube
i know it will work as i have used tried it for about 1 1/2 hours with no
problems will i need to change anything if i use it longer? please email me

Physically, they'll fit, the pinout of the socket is the same.

The differences are AOT in the heater current, 0.9 vs. 0.45A.
Bias and anode load are different as well.
IOW it will "work", but it won't sound optimal and the extra heater
current will probably stress the transformer.
