Hi all,

I'm 99% sure what the answer is, but since I didn't see a definate
answer in the manual, just to confirm: On the A&H MixWiz 12:2DX the
9-10 and 11-12 inputs are ONLY unbalanced... No way to feed a balanced
signal into, say the 1/4" TRS jacks, right? (I'm guessing the TRS are
Left/Right/Shield and not +/-/G as the other jacks are).

Thanks!

Lincoln

in the brochure at
http://www.allen-heath.com/DL/wz122dx_162dx_brochure_issue3.pdf
it says that inputs 9-12 are unbalanced.

Each stereo input has a pair of unbalanced RCA jacks and a pair of

balanced 1/4" jacks. So this answer is yes you can feed a balanced
signal into the 1/4" TRS jacks. I found this out by looking at a
picture of the mixer. You can see on the jack panel that there are
two 1/4" jacks for each stereo channel. That would be either 2 TS
unbalanced inputs or 2 TRS balanced inputs. Silkscreened at the
middle of the jackplate is a legend which indicates that the line
inputs are TRS balanced. If those jacks were unbalanced this would
have been specified.

Hope this helps.

I think that diagram on the back of the mixer is refering to the
stereo returns, not the stereo channel inputs.
