two 3.5mm mono Y to one 3.5mm stereo, source? |
|
|
I want to run two mono 3.5mm cables into a Y adapter output 3.5mm stereo.
I could build one by snipping up some cable but perhaps one is for sale
already build and nicely constructed without electrical tape.
Incredibly, the junk box has a 3.5mm stereo male joining a red and a white
3.5mm female pair, but they're both stereo too (Why red and white?
nobody knows.)
I prefer a Y cable to a rigid adapter. A cable is less likely to
develop mechanical problems.
Does anybody sell one?
(purpose, two mono mics into a stereo cable; stereo cable into two
mono channels on the mixer at the other end)

On the internet, nobody knows you're a jerk.

I've not seen that one, although there are mono to stereo adaptors
around. I'd plug one of those into a mono y-cable.

Actually, I take that back. The above would work in a pinch, but for a more
permanent solution, I'd probably solder a new stereo plug onto the above
mono 'y'...or build it from scratch.
