panasonic PT-50DL54 DLP RGB or HDMI aspect ratio from a PC |

Hello,
I'm new here so when I make you angry, please understand that I'm a
n00b..anyway, I just bought a 50" panasonic DLP. it's going back to Leon's
for several reasons..
first is, the fan is too loud. Is this a common issue with these sets?
second is, although the RGB display from my 'puter is breathtaking, the
aspect ratio cannot be adjusted from the TV in RGB mode. wtf!!
my goal is to connect a computer to the tv (a common goal here, i imagine),
and download commercial free torrent tv in hd format and enjoy in 16:9 or
whatever letterbox format is available. judging that the tv only supports
1024x768 and a few lower res (8x6, 6x4), I see that my goal is impossible
with this tv. :`-(
so it's going back to Leons, who's gonna charge me $200 for a restocking
fees. effin jerks!
anyway, sorry for the lengthy msg here. Q - what projection LCD or DLP
offer RGB or DVI input for 16x9 or other letterbox formats from a PC?
consequentially, which graphic adapters out there pump out 16x9 to RGB, DVI,
or DMDI.
Nice place this alt.tv.tech.hdtv!
