Hey,

I've been using Premiere 6.5 for some time for editing, but have been
using DVD-Lab for DVD production. I love that DVD-Lab offers pro
features for extremely low prices.

Now I see that DVD-Lab (Mediachance) has partnered up with another
company to produce video editing software that is also much much cheaper
than the likes of Premiere, Edit Studio 4.

Anyone use it? Hate it? Love it? Curious to hear how it's being
received, if it is.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Funny, I just bought DVD-Lab because EditStudio suggested it.

I've been using ES for a year now. Love it.

I tried a lot of other programs. ES gives me a LOT of features that
the expensive programs have. So far, I haven't found anything that I
couldn't do with it.

Besides the base program, there are a bunch of free add-ins and some
very powerful low-cost ones.

What sets ES apart is the help. The developers answer questions on
their forum in almost no time. Plus, there are a lot of other people
more than ready to give useful advice. Recently, I've wanted to make
text ripple like water and make snow over a video. I got great
answers in just a couple of hours.

Download the free trial and give it a run. Feel free to ask questions
in their forums. Once you move beyond the presets (there are a lot of
nice ones included) and get used to unlimited layers building off of
each other and keyframes moving things or changing effects
automatically you are going to be impressed.

Eric

p.s. They've announced that they expect to release Version 5 within
six months so anyone buying V4 now will qualify for a free upgrade.
