I want to buy 2 speakers to connect into the red and yellow audio outputs at
the back of my dvd player so that I can play cd music disks on the dvd
player. The speakers I have seen tend to be stereo ones with 2 wires to
connect rather than the appropriate red and yellow correct size plugs. Does
anyone know of any speakers I could use for this purpose or does anyone have
any advice?

Regular speakers are not meant to be plugged directly into any dvd players
like that. You'll need to look at powered speakers(most likely PC)
