Getting wrong region error on RJtech RJ1200 |

I just bought an RJtech model RJ1200 DVD player...here's the item's link:

The first disk I put in (a DVD I burned) played fine, but when I tried a
number of regular, retail DVD's I would see the error 'wrong region' and the
disks would not load. I tried calling their support number but no one
answers. The manual (if you wanna call it that!) contained nothing about
this.
Anyone know a way to fix this problem?
