Panasonic DMR-E95H : What is the best jpg or tif format? |
|
|
Dear NG,
the above DVD-HDD-Recorder is also able to do a slide-show with the
pictures on a SD-Card. The manual says, that jpg and tif can be shown,
as long as it is DCF compatible. Unfortunately pictures taken as
portrait (higher than wide) are not rotated automatically by 90 degree
:-(
I thus tried to do this work on my PC. Sometimes it worked (the
Panasonic showed the portray-pictures correctly) sometimes it did not
work (even though, my PC shows the picture as portray, the Panasonic
shows it in landscape).
Can someone tell me, what are the critical points to ensure, so that
my PC-pics will *always* (and not just *by chance*) show correctly?
Also: Do you know the ideal size/resolution a jpg or tif should have
in case of the Panasonic?
Kind regards and thanx
Sven
