He was *not* asking a question. Re-read the OP, pushing all the B.S.
aside.

That's exactly what he's saying. He's blaming a surrogate process for
doing what the requesting application is doing. |

Don't try to use logic with these people. If Microsoft is involved,
it's their fault, even when it isn't (according to them). Also, Linux
will solve all your problems. If it doesn't, you have the wrong
problems, and should get on with fixing that. |

Why are you guys sooo sensitive? The OP made a statement that was not
ripping Microsoft. He made a statement about a RunDLL...

As usual, your "shoot first and ask questions later" approach is

Your response is comical, because it does not in any way
refute my assertion that a program tried to access the Internet
or that it arises out of XP service pack 2.

It does not "arise[s] out of XP service pack 2". XP only provides the tool
for some other application to run. It would be like claiming that Firefox
accesses www.abevigoda.com simply because the Abe Vigoda plugin was
installed. No, Firefox doesn't, the program (extension) that Firefox is
running is.

you should not shoot first and ask questions later, but this is
what you have done, because you have not refuted the substance
of my argument, but you have only nitpickingly accused me of making
an error, which is childish of you. May I ask how old you are?
|
I've not nitpicked anything. *NOTHING* in what you posted indicated there
was MS spyware, as your message title indicated. It was enitrely third
party programs. |
