I have a Yamada DVX-6100 with the latest (december 03) firmware. I
sometimes download movies from mirc etc use winzip to unzip them and then
Isobuster to extract the actual file. I then end the file name with .mpeg
and burn the iso onto a DVD. Generally this seems to work OK but recently I
have had problems. Yesterday I burned (using Nero v 6.6.0.3) 3 films onto a
DVD, when the DVD is inserted into the DVX-6100 the menu shows the three
films one of which has an mpeg2 icon next to it, one of the others had a
four coloured symbol next to it and the final one had a question mark next
to it. The only one which plays OK is the one with the mpeg2 icon next to
it. The one with the question mark is not recognised by the player and will
not play and the one with the four coloured symbol has audio which is very
intermittent.

Can anyone give me any clues as to what I am doing wrong ?

Hi Mike,
When using isoBuster, did you extract "Treat as video ONLY, Extract but
FILTER only M2F2 Mpeg video frames (*.mpg)" ?
My guess is that you might have missed that! That's the only explanation I
have.
greetings from
Pete
