hi.

i am looking for a dvd recorder that has both composite input (or
s-video) and a firewire port, but can also be hooked up to a computer
and be used as an external burner for dvd authoring. i see several,
seemingly inexpensive, models that have a firewire input, but I am not
sure if this is meant strictly for input from a camera. also, i would
like a machine that has the capability of putting in chapter markers
as its recording....kind of like the "track" button on miniDisc
players that automatically starts a new track when you hit it, as
you're recording. is this possible? thanks, jeff
