This might seem a stupid question; it will to those of you who know this
area. But I hope I could get a tolerant humane reply...!

I want to create a DVD that I can play on my multi-region DVD player (linked
to a TV) from computer Xvid and AVI files. I have no software or DVD writer
attached to this computer. So I want to go out and buy, from scratch, an
external DVD writer with software that will plug into my computer and get
the job done. I live in the UK. Any solutions? I would really appreciate it.
