I have a relativley new Denin DVD-2200 (less than 90 days old) and on
a couple of title that played fine on my old Pioneer DV-37; the movie
will play about 90+% then start to act up. Symptoms are, picture and
audio hanging, picture skipping. The time count seems also to advance
in bursts as welll when it hits one of these spots.

Any ideas? Are there any know firmware updates for this unit?

Try the problem disks on another player to make sure its not the disks, if
its the unit, return it for an exchange immediately.
