Downloading .avi's - some incomplete downloads. is there any program that
will let me watch them, or is there any way to do it?

They don't work with incomplete Bittorrents, if that's what you mean? I used
one to rebuild the index of 99% complete file and it still wouldn't play.
The problem is that bittorrents don't download in any particular order so
the missing bits could come from any or all parts of the programme.

Use VLC.
If you're downloading with e-mule you can set it as your default viewer and
preview the file as soon as it has a bit at the beginning.
