Hi all,

I have a Sony TVR38 camcorder. A friend gave me a tape in PAL format.

Are there any custom settings or a special program that will allow me to
capture whats on the tape without major audio and minor video dropouts.

I have tried capturing with Microsoft Movie maker and Ulead Video Studio.

Tape has video of my boys 1st birthday, so would really appreciate any
help you can send my way. At this point it seems like I will have to play
back the tape from a PAL player.

I'have the Sony TVR50 and that has the menu-possibility to make the
choice to play PAL or NTSC. So you can capture with your PC
