Great. (google not including quotes or titles for some reason).

I want to keep the old VCR to play and record tapes anyway,
so I will use it. This is what I wanted to do all along anyway,
plug the DVD into the VCR.

Why oh why is no one using their heads and telling Van the issues he will face

doing it this way? You WILL most likely run into macrovision copy protection
just running the DVD thru the VCR.

Only if you try to tape it. I've done this with no problems. But I also have
a Macrovision eliminator I can use if needed.

Hey, I recommended he go right to an RF modulator and skip the old/any vcr
BS in the 1st place. But you just cant convince people that spending the
absolute least amount of money usually gives you a crappy solution.

Depends on the VCR, all the decent ones I have ever used dont even allow the

signal to pass thru.
