Slideshow Question |

About 6 months ago I received "Photo Explosion Deluxe", ("The Complete
Digital Photo Studio"), by Nova Development as a gift. Having recently
completed a one months vacation, I'm anxious to put together a slide
show that will include downloads from Sony Memory Sticks (jpegs.), video
captures from my digital camcorder, and a music track. The file would
get burned to a cd, that will play on most dvd recorders, and pc's, with
the added feature that you could extract the photos in their original
high resolution if you cared to print any of them. So the instructions
say -- I tried a test with about a dozen photos, everything looked very
simple up to the point where I tried to burn the cd. I kept getting a
message that it could not find my burner. My burner is a TDK IndiDVD
unit that has never failed me. I'm working with Windows XP, and all my
computer specs exceed their System Requirements. Called Nova twice,
e-mailed them once. First suggestion was a free trial Nero download
which they said the included driver should fix the problem -- nothing
happened except a message that the trial had expired. Other tech had me
uninstall my program, and reinstall it -- still nothing! I am a
relative newbie, but I have done some video editing, etc. Has anyone
had this experience with Photo Explosion, did you find a fix? Sorry for
the length of this post. TIA Ed.
