Can't do a correct conversion |
|
|
I have ripped one of my DVDs using DVD Decrypter, and it works fine, as
far as I can tell.
For encoding, I am trying to use XMpeg 5.0. Although Xmpeg opens the
ripped file correctly, when I launch the conversion it only creates a 80
KB .avi file that doesn't play in either Divx 5 or WMP.
I followed some online setup instructions to the letter, and, wierdly, I
can play the entire ripped DVD from within Xmpeg. But the conversion
utility always spits out the same useless file with no errors.
Anybody ever run into this before?
TIA,
hbchrist

Last time I looked at XMPEG it was a GUI for FlaskMPEG (and an
older version, at that). Has something changed?
Get a copy of FlaskMPEG and use it against the same Decrypted
files (access the IFO).
