have just seen a interal company email, post that there are lots ofcheap, fake
DVD+-R on sale boxed&printed so they look like the real product
but they can MELT when being used in the dvd burner
is this ture or crap

There has been fake medi afor years, going right back to the days of
cd media an dfloppy media. Its worse than ever now. Fake tdk, ritek,
ty, you name it. Then there is lower grade shit which is been passed
off as grade a when its grade c or worse.
Only way to tel is some like tdk have branding on the inner ring of
the disc. Ridata/ridisc do this as well to stop the fakes or lower
grade shit. Most don't know the difference.
Buy 25 and if all burn then buy more. Could still get burnt if yuo buy
from elsewhere or from the same store which has bought lower grade or
fake. Basic line if its to cheap to be true it generally is. |
