I apologise if this is the wrong newsgroup but is there any software that
will allow me to copy a few MP3 albums onto DVD so that it will play on my
home DVD player?

I've tried Music DVD creator but for some reason it wouldn't play on my
Panasonic home DVD player.

i think nero will do the mp3 to dvd ok...remember and tick the box that asks
for finallise or end multi session disc ...so that the disc is made useable
by other dvd players...
