I have a good thing going already with my favorite rip/encoding software.
They seem to work fine except the occasional glitch in ripping. So I was
reading a little and ran across the ASPI layer topics. So I ask here. I
do get an aspi warning that its not present, but it seems to choose
(Neodivx) DeCSS? Im not sure If I spelled it correctly. I assumed it was a
variation of aspi.

I am using this on XP Pro SP2 machine. The aspi notification happens
regardless of ripping from my:

Nec DVD-RW ND-1300a
Samsung CDRW/DVD SM-352b

The Samsung seems to rip a bit faster, so that is the one most used. I burn
my multiple divx/xvids to the NEC drive on a single dvd-r disk.

thanks,
SL
