Don't know about bad pixels, but some of LCD RPTVs have suffered from
"color shift" over time. Possibly due to heat damage from the
projection bulb.
Regardless of the display you choose, make sure the dealer lets you
view standard definition programming on the thing before you decide.
Standard def picture quality on fixed pixel displays can sometimes look
absolutely awful. |
