Oh no! Terrestrial DVB in North America! ;)

Lots of it coming. Of course XM and Sirius are using COFDM here already.

Both DVB-T and DVB-H are coming to the US.

Part of the peace treaty in S. Korea included the use of both DMB-T
(Korean) and DVB-H, both of which are COFDM based.

A dire prophecy was posted recently by Nat Ostroff of Sinclair. While he
said Sinclair's testing of 5th gen receivers brings new hope to OTA
broadcasting in the US , he also said that DVB-T and H represented a
major threat to broadcasters in the US.

And it is not just OTA broadcasters. I would add cable, satellite TV,
satellite radio and AM/FM.

Sinclair has lost all credibility. Perhaps it will start calling it a
liberal conspiracy.

Richard.
