I would like to make an audio cd from a dvd...I have both burners i just
dont know what files i need to remove and if i need to convert them in any
way...can anyone help?

There are several programs available to extract the sound track of
a DVD and convert it into MP3.

DVDtoMP3 is one of them. Make a search in Google for a web page
caled doom9.org. There you may find a downloadable utility or demo
for that purpose.

Basically you need to extract the audio from the DVD.
Convert the audio to 44.1 KHz.
Edit the track so it fits onto 74-80 minutes depending on your CD media
size.
Burn the track.
