Toshiba W522CG VCR picture shaking |

Hie all,
I bought a Toshiba W522CG VCR about 5 days ago. The sound is perfect,
picture quality is very good but the entire picture seems to make
"vibrating/shivering motions" every 15-20 seconds. This only happens
with the tapes that I have recorded on itself in SLP (Extended Play).
Short Play however seems OK. I have tried it with several good quality
blank VHS tapes including a brand-new Maxell tape to no avail. Manual
tracking adjustment doesn't help.
This is a problem since I bought the VCR for taping TV in my absence.
I am on the verge of returning it to the shop but I am undecided about
whether to swap for another W522CG or change models completely. Has
anyone else had this problem?
