Want to buy an NTSC VCR in the UK |
|
|
Hi,
I have a bunch of old NTSC videos from North America that I want to
capture and convert to DVD on my PC. Unfortunately it seems that the
NTSC playback feature on most UK PAL VCRs is not a suitable output for
most consumer grade capture devices (I've tried a few!). So,
basically I am looking for EITHER a proper NTSC output VCR or a PAL
VCR that outputs an NTSC video in true PAL.
Anyone know of a source where I might be able to buy the above? Any
recommendations for a brand? I am going home to Canada for a few
weeks at Christmas, so I may just pick up a cheap one there and use a
voltage convertor back here, but I'd like to have one sooner than
that.
Regards,
Tyson Cooper

samsung do a sv5000w unit , plays all standards.
also can be used as a converter feeding a signal in as one standard
and out as another. |

Bloody shame it's not at bargain price.
Couldn't find one cheaper than 340 GBP (which probably is still a good
price for what it can do).
