JVC HR-A592U -vs- Toshiba W522CG VCRs |

Hie all,
I am looking at replacing my old VCR with a low-end VCR, and the local
shop has these two brands, and I was looking for advice on which is
better:
1) JVC HR-A592U
2) Toshiba W522CG.

If I was you I would go with the Toshiba vcr since I have had mine for a
year and a half and it does a way better job of recording than the JVC does.
Thats my opinion though. I bought the JVC and saw how it did with cartoons
and other shows etc and I brought it back. My Toshiba is a good one and I
use it for my tapes that I put on dvd cause it gives good results.

Can't comment on the first one, but I have owned a W522 for almost two years
and have been exceptionally pleased with its performance. Recording and
playback is great quality, even at EP speed.
