1. copy dvd's and 2. record at LP |
|
|
Im trying to buy a new vcr, having a heck of a time finding info
online. Not that I dont find what I want, I dont find the info even in
the unit specs listed. Which vcr's on the market record at LP?
Also, is it tru that newer vcr's don't record dvd? I've been recording
DVD for years onto vhs. They give you 5 hours of extras and 3 days to
watch it all, yeah right, you have to sometimes copy stuff. How do I
know which units do and don't?
Thanks

Assuming you mean NTSC LP, just a few Panasonic VCRs still record in LP.

All analog VCRs will record DVDs. Most VCRs *are*, however, adversely
affected by Level 2 Macrovision if (1) the DVD is so flagged, and (2)
if the DVD player has an active Macrovision insertion circuit. The
amount of video distortion varies from VCR to VCR. |
