i have a jvc vcr, top of the line (the one with vcr+ gold - i forget
the model number). i live in flyover country where the power supply
is sometimes erratic - squirrels getting involved in power
distribution usually. every time the power goes out, as it did this
morning (and once earlier this week), the jvc loses its clock.
i have to re-establish it. however, the stored information in the
timer list is still present.

this differs from other vcrs which lose either nothing, or both!
