Did Sony ever make a SVHS for PAL markets? |

Been looking around for a SVHS recorder and keep coming up looking at the
Sony SLV-R5 & the SLV-R1000. Both of which are NTSC only, no PAL support at
all, not via line in or PAL recorded tapes (both SVHS and VHS taps).
Does anyone know of a SONY SVHS VCR that supports both PAL and NTSC?
Ideally I would like one with a PAL tuner, but if not a NTSC tuner and PAL
record and playback would do.
