Tivo and Directv |
|
|
Until Directv decides to send me my Directv DVR's, I'm stuck using my old
Tivo 2 DVR's. The Directv box does not have a 9 pin serial cable hook-up.
Will the IR sensors work with DTV box?

If you have a receiver with a low-speed data port (it's a small-looking
telephone modular jack - the kind that used to be on handsets for
telephones), then you can probably use the Home Control Cable available from
the TiVo store:

Well, Directv got me all hooked up! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone
that answered my questions and urged me to ditch comcast and go to Dtv. It
was well worth the switch....what a difference! |
