Just switched from UltimateTV to HD Tivo |

And man, I know some things you get used to, but the Ultimate TV is much
faster, and handles recordings a whole lot easier.
I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but some of the Tivo stuff is
really hard to fool with, I don't understand some things.
And the guide is excruciatingly super slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Can I advance in the guide more than 30 minutes at a time?
UTV can advance 30 min, 4 hr, or 12 hr, with one push of button.

There are two styles of guide: "DirecTV Grid" (which is
very slow and somewhat obnoxious), and the "List Guide" (very quick
and functional).
To change it, just follow the instructions at the bottom of the
screen: Press INFO to change options.

Also , it takes awhile for your new tivo to index the shows and that
will slow it down. Once they are indexed it will speed up.
