CD changer that will also play MP3 discs? |

Just about every DVD player I've seen will also play CD-R's full of MP3
files, but does anyone know of a reputable CD changer that has this
ability? Someone told me about an RCA model, was hoping for something
slightly more upscale. Thanks

Well, I wouldn't call it upscale (but I think it's upstream of the RCA
;-), but the Denon DCM-280 is a 5 disk CD changer that will play MP3's -
I own it, though to tell the truth I've never played MP3's on the thing.
The DCM-380 is identical except it will also play HDCD.

Well, I wouldn't call it upscale (but I think it's upstream of the RCA

The Onkyo DX-C390 will play mp3s, FWIW.

The Panasonic DVD-CV52 is a DVD changer that will play MP3s (among other
things like VCD, SACD, etc), and at the time that I looked into them, was
the only changer that will span discs for random play of MP3s. Others stick
to the same disc for random and sequential play of MP3s. The price is fairly
low, so I replaced my CD changer with the DVD changer and never bought the
single DVD player.
