I ned some reccomendation to convert some LP records to mp3. I have
looked at Nero 6 soundtrax and at Roxio 6 but am not completly happy
with them. What programs are most persons using?.

I would suggest that you rip it to WAV or other uncompressed format as an
archive and then rip that file to MP3 - saves the record!

My way of doing things at :

but there are many others. I also give many links
to similar web sites and also to the software pages.

But convert to Wav first and then to Mp3 using free software
like DbPowerAmp Music Converter.

Have you looked at Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit External USB Sound Card ?

I haven't used it, but it was discussed in another newsgroup, and some
people like it.
