DVD Burn Speed |
|
|
I have a Pioneer DVR-108 DVD burner that I have used with a batch of
DVD+R to burn at 8X. Now I have a new batch of DVDs, supposed to be 8X,
but I only get 4X burn speed. I have speed at at Max in Ulead program,
so I would expect the speed to be 8X.
Can poor quality DVDs cause problems with burn speed?
Thanks, jimbo

Yes, or a brand of media that the firmware on the drive doesnt recognize as
being 8X, which is most likely the case. |
