i am having trouble playing certain DVDs on windows media player windvd or
any other player i install. some will play. these are current store bought
DVDs. they will play on my regular DVD player but not any on my computer.
just wondering why some would work and others not.

This is usually a hardware problem, driver problem, or the drive needs a
flash update to it's internal software.
