Viewing video from VCR on laptop |
|

How can I view video from my VCR on my laptop in win XP. One of the earlier
Win MediaPlayers had an overlay function but the latest versions do not.
Please advise.

You'll need some kind of analog video capture hardware.

I DO have a video capture card. I am inquring about the SOFTWARE that would
allow me to warch the video from a VCR on my laptop. Is there a plug-in for
the Win Media Plyer? Please avise. Alex

As far as I'm aware, there's no plug in. You'll have to capture the video
and then watch it.

If an earlier version allowed you to do this, have a search for media player
classic and see if that will, I have no idea if it will work, but it's worth
a try.
