Hi

I've been having major headaches with dv capture recently and came to
the conclusion that SP2 was the culprit - it had been working fine pre
applying the pack. The capture window in Premiere 6.5 kept 'losing'
the capture driver. After a restart it would sometimes work OK once,
then lose it - or sometimes not at all. Windows movie maker had the
same problem except that it would never capture at all (I believe
Premiere uses the standard windows device capture software, so this
makes sense). I did try turning off DEP, but this made no difference.

Remove SP2 - problem gone.

However I would prefer to have sp2 applied - has anyone else had and
cured this type of capture issue?

Regards

TP
