Hi.

We are using an eMac with iMovie to create video's that we export via
firewire to a Philips DVDR75 dvd recorder.

When we export to the dvd recorder everything seems fine until we playback
the recording on another player. What we see is what appears to be the
date and time stamps from when the footage was originally filmed, in the
bottom right hand corner of the screen.

The stamp is in the dvd recorders colours and script, we have contacted
philips support but they say it should not be there.

We are making these dvd's comercially and they do not appear to be a
professional product with this box in the corner.

From what i have read recently i understand this will be encoded in the dv
footage itself.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this problem would be much
appreciated.

Cheers,
TTS Video Team.
