Saw CVS had a deal on Shrek 2 for $9.99 if you bought 2 other household
products they had on a list. Things like paper towels, soap, etc. So I
figured, hell, I'll buy a couple packs of paper towels to get the DVD for
that low price. Stopped at 2 different CVS stores, all they had on the
shelf was the FS version.

Anyone look for the same deal and find the WS available? Wondering if CVS
was only stocking the FS crap. Have to believe they were as I was the 2nd
person in the first store I stopped at before I went to work.

**Odd that you should mention this: I went to Walmart after work to
pick up Shrek 2. They had one of those really large box-shaped display
cases. I found ONE! widescreen wedged down in the far corner of the
box. It was chockfull of fullscreen otherwise. I couldn't believe it,
normally, they're fairly good about having widescreen.

I've already thrown out the ad, but I believe you had to buy $20 worth of
Proctor & Gamble products, not just 2 items, to get the $9.99 price. At
least that's what the deal was in my area.

The supermarket I worked at had a better offer. Buy 12 items from a list and
get Shrek 2 FREE.
all the items were on sale to begin with.
They HAD WIDESCREEN

When considering an HDTV,DO NOT stick with 4:3.
16:9 is the future! Deal with it!

Still had it and it was $20.00 and not 2 items!

Yeah I also noticed that when I got my copy at Walmart ($14.88 plus I
had a $3.00 instant off coupon so I got it for $11.88) all they had
was a display case loaded with FS! I had to ask the checkout girl if
they had any WS left (they did 11 copies in the whole store)!

Also had the same problem in Walmart when I went to get the Star Wars
Trilogy so I got a rain check and waited until the WS came n!
