President Bush is going to replace John Ashcroft as US Attorney
General. Should he appoint someone more conservative, or someone not as
tough on crime like Janet Reno was? Now that Bush is a second term lame
duck, what could stop him from pushing his agenda even further to the
right? Do you support Patriot Act II?

Nothing, unfortunately.

No, and I did not support the first one.

This post is relevant to these NG's, how?
Nonetheless, I expect Bush to replace As*coft with someone who,
in former lifetime, was a nazi storm trooper. As a Dem, however,
I have no oar in this boat, nor do I harbor any illusions that the
Repubs in power actually believe in the Bill of Rights ('cept for that
gun-one). [R]

I thought I asked for politics to be over in politics and photography to be
in photography. Maybe I didn't speak loud enough?

Heck - Bush could "reach out" to the Dems and appoint Sen. Robert Byrd,
a Klansman in a former life...

In line with Bush's obvious intention to turn the US into a theocracy,
he'll appoint Pat Robertson.

I thought he was going to keep his job as president. Or does he plan to
work two jobs?
