Yet another video camera question |
|
|
So I've done a lot of research on a video camera and have sort of settled on
the Panasonic PV-GS400.
It is to be used as a second camera in production of a documentary. Our "A"
camera is a Cannon XL-1. All interviews and controlled situations will be
shot with the XL-1. However due to the nature of the documentary we need a
very small camera that can be mounted to motorcycles. I like the Panasonic
for the variable frame rate which will be important in capturing high speed
action. The other time we'll need the "B" camera is at some night shoots.
This is where I get concerned. Can the Panasonic shoot in low light? Also
does anybody have any idea how the footage from the two cameras will cut
together? Any issues about the PV-GS400 I should be aware of?
Thanks everybody for your time and responses.
