Check at www.hammondmfg.com
Look up their 167G60. It is good for 0.5 amp at 60 volts.
If you need one amp then the 167J60 will do it.
Both Canadian & US price lists are on the site along with
a long list of distributors.
I'm curious. Could you please email a copy of the schema?
Thanx, John Stewart |

Agree with the question about the 60V output. Doesn't sound right unless it
is used for the heater on the 50L6. If that's all it's for don't spend the
big bucks--get a surplus tranny. Even use two 30V ones--these are very
common and available for about $1 to $2 each.

The 60 volts could drive the heaters & a half-wave doubler as well for B+.
A bit nuts but it would fly. Need to see Tubetwangs schema. JLS |

How about the 50L6 in series with the 12AX7 across the 60V output, and B=
derived from a doubler?

Hammond puts out such a transformer, check out http:www.hammondmfg.com.
I think the number could be 166J60. |

Oh, Check out Fair Radio Sales. Look in both their High voltage and low
voltage transformer listings. I think they have a 60V transformer for a
reasonable price. From the description it looks like anything fro, 0.25A
and up at 60V would work.
