I recently picked up a second hand sony str-de325 reciever. excitedly i
turned it on ...and two lights turned on ..only the LED next to the base
boost button and the light labled "hall" . I pressed the function buttons
to get them to turn on the machine but alas i have failed ....I am at my
wits end... Please some one help!!

Have you connected anything to it? Does it make any sound? Was it
working before you got it? Without more info, I'd simply assume it is
terminal.

Sorry..
yes i have connected the front two speakers and my cd player to teh input
on the back. It makes no sound ..not even fuzz. I was assured that it
worked befor I got it and being a dumbbell I believed him. Is there
anything I can do?
